We’re off to Minneapolis this weekend…
Of course the weather calls for snow. Remember the last time we took off for a weekend get-away? It was the week between Christmas and New Years this year, and we went up to Canada. 12 inches of snow later… ! 
While they’re not predicting that kind of snow, it is supposed to snow most of Saturday. We’ll arrive there after lunch and since there is no snow forecasted Saturday night and Sunday, we’re hoping we’ll be ok.
Our plan is to visit The Mall of America. I don’t know what to expect, Nicholas has been there and says it’s great, but the rest of us are filled with anticipation. Other than that we don’t know. We checked out baseball and hockey games but I can’t afford hockey tickets and the Twins are out of town. There is a zoo in town I’d like to visit, and some museums that Heather want’s to go see. Nicholas wants to go to a water park and Melanie, well, Melanie doesn’t know what she wants to do.
One of the brightest children in the country; no, really. She knows about history and math and science and is on the High School dance team as well as the High School Debate team and did I mention first chair clarinet on the High School junior band… Melanie knows all this stuff but she doesn’t know what she wants. Is that my daughter or what!!!! :~)
Hey we’re back and had fun. No snow, in fact it was sunny (but windy) all day Saturday and Sunday. Sunday was less windy and warmer, a wonderful day for a leisurly drive across Minnesota.
