Camping again

We went camping again this week. This time we went up to Lake Metigoshe, a ND State Park. It’s about 200 miles or so from Grand Forks. You wouldn’t think it, looking at how flat and treeless Lake Agassiz area is (Grand Forks), but it’s hilly and treeish, and very pretty up there.

Lake Metigoshe is just a few miles from the International Peace Garden. That’s a park that crosses the Canadian and the US borders. Very pretty. We camped up there for 5 days and spent a good part of one day at the garden, and really enjoyed it. The high temperature for the whole 5 days was maybe 80 or 82. A far sight different from much of the nation which was 100+ last week.
Here are some pictures from our camping trip.
