– told you I kayaked/canoed 10 miles down the Colorado Saturday
– Sunday I bought a new computer. Used but works good, it’s pretty fast. My laptop of almost 8 years finally shit a gut (technical term for shitting a gut) and I had nothing, Nothing, NOTHING to cruise the internet on. It’s another HP (in memory of my HP latop) and came with 2 monitors. One is a 17″ flat screen w/ a scratch on the front and the other is a 19″ CRT with a really good picture. The HP has an Asus mobo w/ an AMD 3,000+ 2.2ghz CPU and 112MB HD (ATA) and 2MB RAM with vid card holding 64MB RAM of it’s own.

– Monday I ran for the first time on my sprained ankle. Did ok… my verdict: I’m almost healed. It is still sore but it’s not really painful. Running didn’t make it any worse, and sitting here there is no extra pain or stiffness. I only went 1.5 miles on a padded track so I’ll try more tomorrow, going slowly again.
– did I mention it’s 75° and sunny here? 🙂
– and finlly, I put gas in the truck at $3.45 a gallon for the cheap stuff. I filled the bike last weekend and it took $3.65 a gallon for higher octane gas. 🙁
– AND I GET TO GO HOME TO SEE TIRA AND THE KIDS IN LESS THAN 1 MONTH!!!!
