St. George

Hello everyone, it is my turn to write a post.

We have decided to take it easy today and stop about 2 hours (ish) from Las Vegas. We stopped at a Days Inn with a pool and wi-fi before dinner time to give the kids and Scott a break.

Me I don’t need a break, I have pretty much taken it easy these last couple of days. Mostly because I am a clutz. We stopped at a truck pull over between rain storms to let the puppy out and grab a couple sodas and water.  While Melanie and I were getting in the trailer, I stepped off the road and twisted my ankel fell on my butt and hit my head. Melanie said it was pretty funny to watch me fall. Thanks Mel!

It is a pretty color of green and hurts to walk on it but it is getting better. So I haven’t been driving, (my right foot) and I have been in the back reading books and watching movies. Life is rough for me huh?!?!

We should arrive in Las Vegas tomorrow and we should close on the house too.

We are all getting excited.  Say a little pray for us that all continues to go well.

  1. Ouch, hope it turns out ok. I had a girl out here who I think broke her ankle, but she went home so I never found out. Anyways, I hope you’re enjoying the new house. I’m looking forward to visiting some day.

  2. Well!!! Are you there yet? Did anyone sing my favorite song on this trip?
    are we there yet
    are we there yet
    we don’t know
    we don’t know
    when we gonna get there
    when we gonna get there
    we don’t know
    we don’t know

this song is sung to the melody of frea joca (definately spelled way wrong!) You know that french song we never really knew the correct words to

  3. yES, WE’RE here and yes we sing that song everytime someone says “are we there yet?” I have driven cub scouts to summer camp a number of times in the past years and anytime one of them says that we would sing that song. Most of the kids thought I was crazy, the rest were sure of it.
I didn’t know that came from you?
