Last Saturday we went to Mt. Charleston, about an hour or so from here, and hike the Fletcher Canyon trail. We started our hike at 7000+ ft and 80°. It was about 25° cooler than the Las Vegas Valley which was 105 or so.
The hike was 3.5 miles with maybe 700′ of elevation gain.
