Activities this week

I guess i should post individual thoughts instead of “everything that happened this wee”

I’ll work on that.  But in the mean time, here is what has happened this week:

First, it’s mostly about me.  Sorry.

The new convertible rocks.  Not like tipsy but rocks like it’s really awesome.  I LOVE that car.  I’m looking forward to my next… Tira agree I can buy a Jaguar.  🙂

Nick and I spent the day fixing up the camper in a totally Man way.  One of the leveling jacks has been broken for years but today we removed the rusty bolts holding it to the camper frame, punched out the broken pin, replaced it and the missing washer and put it back together and hey, IT WORKS NOW!

I bought a new wrench for the car tires, Nick and I rotated the tires on Tira’s car before she drove to CA but Nic left the bolts loose.

I’m off of work for 4 days.  Been great, think i’ll take 4 more next week.

My foot is swollen.  I think I’ll take a pic and post it.  Melanie wants me to take a pic of my stomach that shows the bruising from giving myself shots but she’s crazy so I won’t agree.

Tira is in CA and I’m sitting here wandering (you know, mentally)

Bought tire covers for the camper that I can’t use.  Now it can sit in the parking lot with nice covers protecting it’s nice tires that I’m not using.

Pics of my next car…

  1. Bro!
Crazy to see that you are up as early as I am…or are you an hour ahead of us? Dang.

The car is not cool. What is this about giving yourself shots? Details are expected. Maybe even pictures, but if they show up on facebook, they will be taken off. Just saying.

My life? I don’t have one. I had a bad day yesterday but it’s of no consequence to anyone but me, Ron even said to get over it.

I wouldn’t own a convertible even if someone paid me. . . I live in Washington.

Today is destined to be the nicest day of 2011 – the sun is already shining and it’s 37 degrees outside. I am going to home depot to buy new pads for my swing . . . yes the swing it out of winter storage, but not outside in the potential weather, it’s on the covered porch. That way I can sit on it, pretend summer will come and stay dry.

I will then work in the yard and wash a window or two.

    Enjoy your lonely day!

  2. HAPPY EASTER ALVAR’S

Nice car but what is it???

Our week has been filled with sickness. Tim is trying to fight off strep and can’t go in to get antibiotics because the docs don’t want him taking them for fear it will mess up the biopsy on Friday. He has been running a low grade fever. Me it started as allergies and now has turned into a sinus infection, just lovely.
We just want to wind to stop blowing and for it to rain. The rain would wash the dust, pollen and dirt out of the air and we would be able to breath better. Rain period would be nice.

We hope everyone has a great week. I will keep you posted as to what is happening with Tim and his biopsy.
    Barbara
