After one of the mildest summers in years, we’re experiencing both of the two hottest days of the year yesterday and today at only 110. For this time of year when the average high is back down to 99 or 100, that’s pretty hot, in fact it’s a record for these days.
But big picture it’s not too hot, it was 108 a couple of days ago, so what’s a degree between friends, huh?
might just have to go back to lake mead to go swimming… 😉

not to beat a hot, dead horse, but i’m tired of the heat. Only 4 days over 110 the whole year (maybe 5?) but really? It’s Sept. QUIT IT ALREADY!
Be thankful you have summer of any type. We had three weeks of summer, and they happened one day at a time! I always say there is no place more beautiful when the sun shines than the Pacific Northwest! AND no place wetter when it rains. The week between Christmas and New Years – if the weather is dry and sunny, may we come to visit?
