I’m home safe and sound from my trip to Albuquerque to see Tim who had a heart attack.
He’s doing great! Well, as great as someone who just had a heart attack can do. He’s home from the hospital and they aren’t doing any surgeries so he’s just working on healing still. To that end he is pretty tired, and I can understand that. The infection in his leg is healing too.
Best of all he’s got Barbara to take care of him.
The drive home was beautiful. I took hwy 60 and 260 through central NM and AZ. I stopped at free campsites each night. First night near Alpine AZ was COLD. My outdoor thermometer only goes down to 14° and then it gave an error reading. The second night was not so bad, but it did go down to 25°, near Cherry AZ. Day 2, near Camp Verde in AZ, it was 74°… you know, 60 degrees+ warmer than the previous night?? 🙂
