Been a few months since I logged my life. Since my birthday, I’ve driven from Fargo, North Dakota to Las Vegas. It was a wonderful 3 week trip that meandered across 7 states, over 2,000 miles, and about 200 geocaches. Most of it I dry camped in forests or other federal lands. Emotionally this has been a big week for me. Wednesday I turned 50 Thursday was my last day in the Air Force and today, Friday, I’m just another guy… Scott… balding, overweight, caucasian, a cliche really. more…. but who cares, right?
Well, I left our new puppy in ND with Heather. Heather just graduated college on 11 May from MSUM, and was happy that the Alvar clan descended on her home town.
