Bought a canoe this weekend… old and ugly and really really beat up. There’s a hole in one side, and a number of cracks in the aluminum frame and ribs in the bottom of the boat. We went camping again this week. This time we went up to Lake Metigoshe, a ND State Park. It’s about 200 miles or so from Grand Forks. You wouldn’t think it, looking at how flat and treeless Lake Agassiz area is (Grand Forks), but it’s hilly and treeish, and very pretty up there. Tuesday… Melanie came home from Camp M.O.E, (wahoo!!!), Heather has school, Tira worked, Scott worked (home at 8pm today, got off early!). Chloe got 2 walks, Nicholas and Tira cut the grass, Scott and Melanie played Upwords for 2 hours and he kicked her ass, Melanie got to listen to “Alice’s Restaurant” on the radio for the firs time. Work day for all except Nicholas. He’s home alone since Heather is in summer school, Melanie is at Camp M.O.E, Tira is working, and Scott was recalled for an exercise at 5:30 or something.
