A few weeks ago, Heather and Melanie went to their haloween dance. Heather went with her boyfriend Brandon. Brandon was a firefighter and heather was a dalmation (Cute, huh?). Melanie went with her friends Jessifa and Kirsten. Melanie was a soldier, Jessica was a witch, and Kirsten was a dark fairy without wings. We found out today Heather was accepted for UND honor band. That means she gets to perform with the UND college band and she’ll be playing with them at a concert. There were hundreds of young musicians that tried out for the college band, and about 10% or so were selected to play with the UND band. Congratulations Heather! ! ! !
And we celebrated Heather’s Birthday the next day. Her birthday was really back in July, but she’s been gone… (remember? HEATHER IS HOME, HEATHER IS HOME, HEATHER IS HOME…) so we celebrated it late w/ a pineapple upside down cake or something. 🙂
