damn (&^#&^ weather in *%^@%(#^ North *!#*&! Dakota

Expect an inch or two of new snow tonight. But the main concern for the next 12 to 18 hours is blowing and drifting snow, initiated by northerly winds between 20 and 30 mph that will chase wind chills downward, toward 25 below zero, the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks says.
A winter weather advisory is in effect from 6 tonight until 6 a.m. Wednesday for the northern Red River Valley counties.
A trough of low pressure that works into the Upper Midwest by Wednesday a.m. will be the culprit.
Wind gusts will result in blowing and drifting snow and drastically reduced visibilities.
The advisory area includes Grand Forks, Devils Lake, Langdon, Mayville and Pembina, N.D.; and East Grand Forks, Crookston, Red Lake Falls, Roseau and Thief River Falls, Minn.

  1. They canceled all that nasty weather. We have been cold….negative 20 and such, but no snow and a lot of wind.
    Not too bad.
