Desert Flowers

I’m back.

My computer had a small problem, it involved wiping out the hard drive, reloading, you know… normal stuff. Stuff that takes you off line for a week.

pictures from 31 Mar… (or maybe 30 Mar) these are from the old Rt 93 where it hits the new (and the paved!) Rt 93 about 12 miles into Arizona, over the Hoover Dam. It’s spring time and the desert is awash in colors. They’ll be dried and dead in a few weeks, but today, it’s beautiful.

If you care about this stuff, this is a link to Google maps of where I was. I walked maybe 2 miles. A very casual, very friendly walk. Google Map of old Hwy 93 in Arizona

  1. Hey, thanks for the pretty pictures. I think I will make one of them my desktop. By the way, your flowers are a dead end. ONce I got there I could only do a back to get to the Alvar web page again. I looked each picture and got stuck in a maze and ended up having to go back to Alvars web page by clicking on my home key.

Just thought I would let you know.

  2. fixed the dead-end issue. sorry you were getting your butt kicked by the “back” button… 😉
