We finally arrived in the Lacey/Olympia area. We had a nice drive up from Astoria on 101 except for about an hour or so below Aberdeen. Man those were some dippy roads… Like frost heaves up in Alaska. We bounced for a bunch of miles through there.
It’s Father’s Day today and Ken invited us to a Father’s Day BBQ and we were happy to drive up to attend. Mom and Dad were there of course, Ken’s family, Tira and I, and Rodney and Melanie came by too.
After the BBQ and after getting lost we checked into the campground for one night. Tomorrow we moved to our permanent spot.
