We took off this morning a little bit later than anticipated, but had a great drive up interstate 84 from Farewell Bend State Park in SE Oregon, to The Deschutes River State Recreation Area.
I managed to pick up three geocaches on the way, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous for the drive. We’re at the intersection of the Deschutes River where it empties into the Columbia.
We got settled in we cooked some pork chops and watched the Deschutes River flow just behind our camp site. After supper Penne and I went for a walk to grab a geocache and of course we couldn’t help ourselves and went for a quick swim in the Deschutes River.
